Here is the start of another quicky project. Got these parts from Jan at the meeting last night. A BIG THANK YOU for loaning these parts to me. They are in really good condition and he had little trouble getting it apart. This is from a model he built in his youth. Here they are "CLAYED UP" on 3/4 inch of the Synthetic KLEAN KLAY

The above link is the instruction sheet library link for this 64 Cutlass engine.

Obviously superior to my quick effort. Of course, we expect that of anyone that casts the name of the subject into the mold (picture 2, above).

The box says it's a 1964 Cutlass F-85 which would carry the 330 V8 with 230 hp (normally aspirated). How accurate AMT's depiction of the engine would be in 1964 is subject to question.

A certain Olds expert I happen to know says that's a pretty good engine! I believe that kit is also about the only source for that blower set up.

8-)

Scotty found these nice virgin parts in a kit and loaned them to me to cast. I spent most of the last couple of days getting the parts off the sprues and this far into the mold process. The parts I got from Jan are very nice in comparison to unbuilt parts. It is nice to have the complete engine. There are 34 parts. Thanks Scotty! Beam me up!
