Here is one of my restoration projects that I finished right before Christmas. I had been collecting rebuild projects to build a few of these. This is what I started with. It's a Johan 71 Javelin AMX trans am car. I only used the body for this build. The rest was traded away to a friend for his build. The body was brushpainted and the hood was cracked. I stripped the body and got replacment chrome from the Modelhaus along with the wheels I used. I also filled in the exhaust cut outs on this body.

Thanks guys. As for the paint on this one it is Tamiya. Just spray a few light coats and the last one somewhat heavy. Then I set it down and forget it. If you like Javelins I have more projects down the road to come. I have a 73 and 74. The 73 is a resto and the 74 is an unbuilt kit. I have a mint 68 kit to build. A 69 that is a major restoration and a 70 resin kit that will be a stock Mark Donahue.
