I am a 59 year old man who has never denied his "inner child". I have been building scale models since I was 6 years old. I am by no means a master builder, but I do appreciate it when someone calls or refers to me as one. As hard as I may try, sometimes my builds don't always come out looking as I had hoped for. I have recently discovered the appeal of building for a model contest. I visit my local hobby shop often, and look for models elsewhere. I like building cars, trucks, starships...anything that inspires my need to build something. And, I love muscle cars!!!!! I am also a proud member of the Classic Plastic Model Club. classicplastic.org/Spenser For Hire was and still is my favorite TV series. Rest in peace actor Robert Urich and Spenser author Robert B. Parker.

Welcome aboard, Mike.
I too have an appreciation for Mr. Parker's works. The Lovely & Gracious Mrs. B and I just spent two evenings enjoying the entire series of Jesse Stone movies, back-to-back. Great stuff! I know, because I'm the police chief. I know everything.
(What are you looking at?)
Post away, you'll find there are a few TV & movie car fans here, too.

Thanks Jonathan and Danno! Danno, I too, enjoy the Jesse Stone movies as well. Tom Selleck absolutely made the role his own and I can't, for the life of me, see anyone else playing Jesse. Now if they can find a network to help with sponsership of movies. What are you looking at? A great line used many times in the history of TV and movies, but the one that comes immediately to my mind is from the TV series, Miami Vice, where Crockett is going below deck of his yacht and he sees his pet crocodile, Elvis lying there and says, "What are you looking at?" Since you say you are the Police Chief, I will obey all rules and regulations. And, if I can get away with it...I'll make a few of my own. (Hehhehheh)

Well, I thought that this forum would be a little more active than of late. After much thought, I have decided to end my membership here. I would like to thank everyone for the warm welcome and support.

A belated welcome aboard, Mike. I, too, have read all the Parker Jesse Stone novels and seen all the Jesse Stone movies. I had not been a Tom Selleck fan in the past. But he did a great job in this series and has even worked to extend the movie series beyond the original books. Bernie
