This depiction of time was worked on and off over the last eighteen years. It shows an automotive repair shop that has slowly evolved over a few decades with the vintage signage, ceiling gas furnace and some of the lighting fixtures still remaining from its former days. Many of the items depicted have been scratch-built including the dyno machine, water cooler along with side cup dispenser, cash register, parts sink, welding cart, pegboard, overhead gas heater, cabinets and dyno machine. Various items in this 'slice of life' include a tennis racket, a whiskey bottle, the air compressor, a pistol, a radio controlled car with controller, clipboard, jumper cables, fly swatter, a shovel, a pack of Marlboro’s, a dustpan, a loose radiator, broom, tin cup, a model car box, safety goggles and a 35mm camera. Some are fairly easy to spot and others are more of a challenge. Rest assured though, they are all there. Enjoy your time in Joe’s Garage.

This was at DSC 2011 and took second place in the Dio category. Where've you been? Weren't you a judge? That explains it. Looked at it professionally. Had no idea who built it. Didn't wanna know. Wouldn't be prudent.
I just thought you stole a lot of ideas from the guy that entered one at DSC in 2011.
