The pictured work in progress is not made of plastic or metal - it is made of bits & bytes. It is a computer model that I have been working on for the past 10 or so months - slow going. It could potentially move into reality via a 3D printer, but I doubt that is going to happen (at least any time soon). If anyone finds this kind of stuff interesting and wants to know more, you can PM me so we don't clog up the forum. As usual, more pics at: public.fotki.com/FMW/cyberstein-laboratories/1932-ford/FMW

Interesting that you're doing it as a Model B instead of a Model 18. I really should learn some 3d stuff, but just don't get the interest enough to spend the time.

Here is a rendering of the car mostly finished (I haven't textured the instrument panel yet). I left half the hood off to show the engine. To answer Wayne, I did the Model B engine because I don't believe anyone has kitted it yet. It's not the same as the Model A. I was thinking in terms of 3D printing. Now that I've read some reviews from people that have actually used home 3D printers, I don't think we're there yet. FMW

Nice work. Need to do my research on the B motor, though most of the differences were internally so visually there weren't any, or very minor, differences that wouldn't show up in 25/24th.
