Yes, I saw that too! That Olds is very cool. And I will comment here too about the 57. Why is it they never do a 57 convertible in 1/25 scale?? You would think this would be a big seller as a convertible with a uptop and a continental kit. It could be a great custom kit.

Sounds like that would be a great subject for a GREAT caster to offer as a conversion kit! '57 convert body, interior doglegs, boot, uptop. Killer!

I do have a convertible top boot and a resin body that is a convertible. I got it from Bernie. Poor Bernie left it in the trunk of his car in the summer and it kind of melted. Mostly the windshield frame is messed up. I'm going to do some comparisons with my skill 3 55 Monogram convertible and the pro build 57 I just got from Raoul. Some guys on the HH board seemed to think they were the same measurements in the 1:1 cars. The 55 (cream color on box) has a separate windshield frame. I'm hoping that I can use a chunk of the clay to make impressions from the interior side of the 57 and it will help make the comparisons. What I really keep thinking I want is the convertible of the flipnose version. I just don't want it to have the hole in the hood for the blower either, but it might be really cool too. Like I will probably ever actually build one though. I just have to admit that I am probably more addicted to the resin casting proccess than building. The only thing I have built that I made are a couple of engines.
