I want to hear what everyone is up to. What is on your desk right now?
I have nine builds sitting on my desk right now. Here is what they are and were I'm at with them.
Revell 70 Superbird. I brought this to the model meeting. The chassis and interior are done. The body is painted blue and I just finished putting on the decals. It is ready for clear coat after a wash.
Johan 71 Sox & Martin Cuda. Chassis is almost done. I need to add dist and wires to engine. Interior is just about done. It was missing one seat. I had resin cast another one for it. Body putty added and sanded. It is ready for primer and more sanding.
Johan 71 Sox & Martin Cuda. This one is being converted to a 70 with resin parts. Resin parts are fitted and bodywork is almost done. Still working on the front vallance. Endine is painted blue but nothing else is painted or done.
Revell 70 Boss 429. This one is box stock and the engine, chassis and interior are all done. This needs paint and bodywork.
AMT 65 Thunderbird convertible restoration. All chrome was redone and the bodywork is well on it's way. A 66 AMT kit has donated some parts to this project. Not much restaration work left before it's time to paint and build.
AMT 74 GTX. This one is being kitbashed with an AMT 71 Charger chassis and engine compartment. Engine is done and the interior is painted. All fitting is done along with the bodywork. Time to prime and paint this one.
Gunse Pantera GT5. This one is painted and the decals installed. It needs a wash and clear coat. The simple chassis and interior are done.
AMT 63 Corvette roadster prestige kit. I used Modelhaus parts to convert it into a 64. Headlights were cut out to be exposed and the bodywork is almost done. Interior needs to be done but the chassis and engine are finished.
65 Cobra Daytona Coupe. This is a resin kit by Historic Racing Miniatures. I have almost finished the engine and have painted most of the chassis. I get just a little bit done on this one at a time. I have bairly touched this one in over a year.
