Another announcement!
As we get closer and closer to DSC-7 ... only 9 days away!
We're inaugarating a new Master Award at the Desert Scale Classic .
The Bob Peeples Memorial Best-Engineering Award will be conferred on the model entry that displays the best engineering.
It may be awarded for the best design and accomplishment of working feature(s) or just plain (oxymoron) outstanding and technically excellent achievement of scratchbuilding construction (in whole or significant part).
Join us in celebrating the memory of our good friend Bob Peeples with this new award!

John Teresi is unable to attend this weekend, so his Flitebird won't be here to thrill and amaze everyone and collect all kinds of accolades.

Hear that? That's the sound of model builders all over the southwest busily finishing those projects so they can enter them in the Desert Scale Classic (now that the competition has dropped down a notch). Bernie
