I picked up a Modelhaus resin Dodge short-bed at the DSC and am going to start building a 2 wheel drive short-bed to go with my 4X4 one!! Here is what I'm starting with. I'm thinking of maybe going with a Ross Gibson 383 or 440? Not sure what color I'm going to be painting this one, but it will be a two tone for sure...

...and I recognize that one, and that one and... Gosh Marty, so that's where all my Dodge truck stuff went. It's the law of conservation of plastic. Plastic isn't gained or lost. It just changes hands. Bernie

That's an impressive collection, but it looks like you're a little short on stock hoods. Better give Modelhaus a call...Also, that Warlock kit looks like a rare one. Nice!

So I got around to working on this one and right away I ran into a small problem. I picked up some Decon Resin 4x2 Dodge rear springs which sit lower then the ones that come in the LRE kits as those are really 4X4 rear springs. So when I went to use the lower ones I found that the rear end hit the gas tank. Which isn't a problem when using the LRE springs. I was then thinking of taking a long wheel base chassis and shorting it, but I really didn't want to cut another one up because I still want to build another 4X2 long bed Dodge. I then came up with the idea of just cutting the gas tank out of a LRE chassis, well that didn't look so great!! So I went a head and cut everything between the frame rails out like so. And then cut the right side frame rail out of a spare LRE chassis to fix the left side rail where the tank was. Now I just have to make a new cross member and I should be good!!! More to come so keep checking back!!! ;D ;D

Well behind the seat where it's nice a safe!!! ;D ;D ;D Oh and if you look at the long wheel frames there is no gas tank anyways, but maybe I'll just put a little moon tank in the bed so you can see that is has a gas tank in it!!!!!!!
