I can make you a new set of front spindles. I actually thought when I first got this that it would be kind of cool to have enough bodies to spell out Cosma Ray and somehow get elevated enough to get a pick of it. Then I realized I would need hoops and bubbles to make a pic look good. Then I thought it would be better if they were painted too. It wore me out thinking about it then I decided it was just a goofy idea!

Hey Lanny I would love to see your out behind the shop one! and your right seeing what John is doing makes me want to get mine back out and try and finish it. I messed up my front spindals so I kind of put it back n the box and have looked at it a couple times but just keep putting it back. Hey maybe we should have a Cosma Ray table at the next DSC! to showcase the car and the Master Caster's work and what can be done with it. Dave, Lanny,
Mine didn't do it for you guys, huh?
OK. I see how you are! LOL. ;D

Danno.......yours came out AWESOME.......in no way am I trying to up stage you......I had promised Greg that I would build the resin kit he sold me 2 years ago......i`m finally getting around to it...... Re: Upstage? I know that, John. And, I wasn't implying you were ... (although there's no contest ~ I know that, too!).
My comment was meant as a mild, humorous, satirical poke at the wording of Lanny's and Dave's posts ... a very tongue-in-cheek reference to their remarks that your build was inspiring them to break out their Cosmas, which implied my build didn't - at least the way they worded their comments. And that's fine. I have no problem with that, I just thought it was kinda ironic/funny!!
* And before any of this gets out of hand with anybody, just remember gang ~ I was KIDDING! I thought it was funny and I don't mind taking a shot at myself. I certainly know John's build is going to be nothing short of incredible, much more perfect, and far more detailed than mine. That goes without saying.
By the way: I don't think there is anyone who actually knows me, that doesn't know how much I admire and respect John and value his friendship.
The COSMA RAY kits Greg has produced are exquisite and exceptional. John's build and his work-in-progress posts will get much more attention than mine; as it/they should. I think it's great that John has gotten into the Cosma Ray ... the more the merrier!!!
Besides, I already have CR-0 on the bench and CR-2 finished. There's plenty of room in the world for John's CR-1. I'm looking forward to learning his tricks before I start my CR-1. Then there's always my CR-1a and my CR-1b ... and my CR-2a ... and ...

They can PM me or get ahold of me by email. Of course I want the business. John, you are going to be my best salesman yet! I have not seen Dans build yet and I'm sure it is very nice, much nicer than I wouldbe able to do. It just seems that when you start building a model you make it look like childs play and you don't really make a big deal out of it because you are "just a simple guy" When you bring something to our DSC show and I look at the level of detail and your desire and ability to scratch build parts to bring the project together it just blows me away that you make decisions make the parts and really finish a project that is in a class by itself. I have so many stalled projects it is just not funny. I pretty much decided the part making was my proper place in the model hobby. Thanks for showing us your project.

Dan....Love Ya Man.... ;D. Seeing what John is doing, makes me want to try it myself. I don't like opening doors, to fiddly for my fingers, to time comsuming, but I see it being done, it's like I can do that. In Johns mind, he's not that great, just enjoys building models... In his mind! In our minds. He is so much more....He is the Professor.... Class is in session.... Pay attention, we might just learn something

Hey Dan I had never seen any pics of yours I knew you had to be building it but Had not seen it. It turned out pretty nice...I like the color and the wheels. Greg I will take a new set of the front spindle/ brake disk parts! just let me know how much ok. I'am taking the wheels that came with the kit and opening all the holes I have one more wheel to go I think or I might even be done...its been awhile sence I opened the box....now after moving into our new house....I have to find it! lol

WOW! That is some really awesome work! I really wish I could scratch build parts like you can and then cast them. I bet that steering wheel is not anything that came in the kit parts I made. Either you need to have casting equipment and learn how to do it or you need to make parts for me to copy and upgrade this fine looking build!
