Dave the jeep looks cool! Rather that cutting the wheel wells you could lift it a little more and maybe moving the front axle forward a bit! Love the HIGH TECK lighting!!! PK

I finsihed my new driveshafts....and they seem to work. I cut the U-Joint off basically making them the Yokes. Then I made the driveshafts slightly longer with some plastic tubing and them made the slip joint part of the shaft out of some alumin. round stock. Then I drilled a small hole in the Yoke's in the diff's/pinion's Then added a small piece of brass round stock to hold the shafts to the diff's..making a sort of U-joint so it can pivot up and down as needed for the right angle into the transfer case and tranny and the length can also adjust on the slip joint for the right length. Next up will be the new longer shocks

Here is a look at my new shocks I had to make after the lift. I used the stock top and bottom mounting point on the new plastic tubing for the new shocks. This is the kit shock This is the new shock and this is one of each. They were not that hard to make really.

Got the Shocks all finished and mounted the suspension & the shocks for good. Modified the wheel back halfs to fit the tires (they were a smaller dia. So I added a .010x.080 plastic strip around them to increase the dia.) and added the intake, carbs, valve covers & wired the distributor. Found a set of headers that I like from the parts box that fit...now I just need to clean them up a bit and detail them a bit & I found a set of Buckets seats from the parts box I like. More to come later....
