Here are some tires I made from the Accurate Miniatures Mclaren M8B kit. They turned out nice using a new batch of POLYTEK PT Flex 50. The 4 pound kit was a $64.00 investment. There is nothing really special about the mold to see. The cured tires are a real pain to get wrestled out of the mold though. I only wish that I had taken the time to look at the instruction sheet about how the wheels and tires are assembled. I should have put the front tires in the mold facing the other way. There is a ridge in the tires that dictates which side goes where on the front ones but it could be removed to have the nicer side facing out.
