Just finished this one up, It is Tamiya's Aston Martin DBS kit, I really liked this kit, and enjoyed building it, not problems at all with this kit. It comes with a nice little P/E set, as well the metal transfers . I could not get the ones for the engine to stay on.
This was a OOB, I used Testors one coat lacquer graphite dust, and then clear coated with either the one coat clear or ultra clear lacquer, dont remember  , I will say that I am very impressed with myself on this one. I did mess up a few things, and I did not do that great a job on the interior .

Sure, I would cast them for you. The Aston wheels are all the same size? I would have thought they would be different from front to back. I saw a show on how the Aston Martin cars are built. They are glued together, not welded. Thanks.
They are a bit pricey like you say...but worth it..........and they have them Hobby Lobby so if you sign up for their Email specials you can get 40 & 50% off coupons...That how I get my 1/8 scale or Tamiya kits these days..
