Well...not really. I'm forty seven years old, but i'm a young forty seven in my mind at least. I was put on to this site by my best friend from another site by way of John Teresi. I was also a member of that other site briefly but I found them to have pretty inconsistent moderating (at least one of them) as well as pretty uptight about alot of things. After reading the rules here it seems to be a more relaxed atmosphere so i'm going to give it a try. I like lots of different genre's of car modeling including but not limited to: NASCAR, movie/TV cars, show rods, concept and dream cars and motorcycles. I prefer bi-scale but will occaisionally step into 1/16th scale. I collect diecasts that catch my eye as well. I hope to be here for some time and will be starting my first build here in a few days.

Awesome, Welcome aboard and welcome to other new members and site visitors as well. I don't think there is much nit picking here and unlike other forums you can post stuff to sell.

I don't think there is much nit picking here Well, of course there isn't!
This is the desert. Nits can't live or survive here. No nits, nothing to pick.
Sheeeesh!

While nits may not enjoy the heat, nit-pickers seem to survive anywhere. In the modeling community, I believe they are typically called rivet-counters. They seem to thrive on tiny discrepancies, mosty in aircraft an armor models.
