When I was a young lad, I used to watch this car run on Iowa's fastest oval, Shelby County Speedway. The back story in short is this was an actual Black Widow 'gifted' to Swanson Automotive from the Racing Division of GM in late 1957. Dale Swanson went on to outfit the first NASCAR driven Black Widows for SEDECO in Atlanta. This build was entered in the replica category in Desert Scale Classic a few years ago. Attachments:

That is such a sweet build, Brad! In fact, as I recall ... it was the first of your builds I discovered on the internet ~ long before we actually met.
