The misspellings (Polica and Battelion) have been reported to the artist and they've already been corrected. The kits should have real Battalion Chief markings and markings for an authentic TiaJuana Policia carro.

Nothing points out overlooked mistakes like putting something before the public. I generally see it in my own stuff just after I hit "Send". In this case, previews result in improved product, which benefits both the company and the customers.
On the K-9 issue, the 1957 Ford might be a current vehicle in some parts of Mexico, but it wouldn't be nearly so shiny. I also have to wonder if they included a barrier between the dog and the driver, or if the dog is expected to ride shotgun.

I have a dog that keeps getting in the yard and eating all of Foo Foo's food. If I catch him its of to the pound with him........ here I got him on the surveillance cam
