1932 Cadillac V16 Dual Cowl Phaeton

After building the Stutz I kind of got into the mood of building some Classics and I'm starting with the Monogram '32 Cadillac V16. I was going to build it like the box art and even skip painting the body & feeders, but after looking photos online I came across one that I liked a lot better then the box art and have ordered the paint for it from Scalefinishes.

This is the one I will be doing.



I haven't gotten much done on it yet, just some work on the V16, frame and repairing a broken part..

Lanny, I haven't done anything else to it, just had too many other things going on around the house to get any me time in the hobby room........

I haven't done anything on this one for a while until today. The hood ornament was broken and I tried gluing it back together but that didn't hold and I kept thinking I'd try to drill some holes in the two pieces and use some wire to hold it together.

Well this morning I thought I'd give it a try and am very pleased with the repair!!!










I really didn't think I would be able to drill into it without really messing it up!!
