I just got this off the wire, on a facebook group I'm in, it's the new JF chopped Hudson, now I heard you can only get it from his vendors, or distributors, and someone said they think you could get it from Model Impire...

OK, kewl now here are 2 more from JF, a 62 T-Bird, and the new '59 Caddy, designed buy, from what I understand, Ted Lear? sorry for the lack of information, but this is what the guy has told me, I can only assume you can get these from JF distributors, one of them being Model Empire. If you want the hudson, you need to email, and ask for nb238 '53 hudson hornet chopped, (body only) kit, 18 + 8 Shipping, now I dont know about the rest, so sorry for the lack of info.... info@modelempireusa.com

I saw the 'Bird and Caddy on Model Empire's eBay listing yesterday - also $18 + $8.

They are listed as:
"Bird Flu" T-Bird Cust
and
Cadolicious Custom
(their spelling, not mine) if you want to use the search function.

I contacted J.F. by email in hopes of ordering one, and he responded "I have a chopped hudson but not this one, it has slanted pillars, mine doesn't". I am finding all sorts of other stuff on the web that says it is his. So now I'm confused.

Another update. I just got a follow-up email from Jimmy, and he said that after looking closer at the picture, that IS his body. He indicated he was very busy and did not look real close at the photo.

Well, I got the body in the mail a couple of days ago and it was the same as shown in the above photo. Overall it appears to be a really nice casting, the interior where the top was chopped will need some attention, but not bad overall. Looking forward to building it.

I just found out that Megahobby (www.megahobby.com) carries a lot of Jimmy Flintstone's stuff.
