Here is one I'm very prowd of. This one took me over a year to collect all the parts to build it. Most of the kit I scored off ebay to build it. The body is a resin copy of the MPC annual by Mini Exotics. This is no longer made BTW. It was missing some peices and was an abandoned project. The chassis was taken from an AMT 69 GTX kit. The Motor is from Ross Gibson and is the 440. I even wired it. The interior has the only original 69 peice in it. The tub is an original issue MPC 69 Coronet RT peice. The seats are Modelhaus along with the console top. The dash came form Motor City Resin casters ans was an extra that came in my 68 Coronet Project. Both bumpers also came from modelhaus and the hood I got from AFX. Lots of resin supliers on this one. It seemed to go together really well and I was excited to get this one done. The wheels were a bit of a problem. I could not decide what I liked.... These are the magnum 500 that are correct on this car. I really liked this mock up but this one is stock. I went with these stock steelies. I really like them but they are not correct for the Coronet RT. The base wheels had a full wheel cover. They came from arrowhead alluminum. I may take the wheels off and use them on a Super Bee as they would be correct on that car. Here are some finished pics. Here is the 3rd place trophy I got at the DSC2 Hope this wasn't to long and you all enjoyed a look at one of my builds.

Thanks Dave. Most of the time was collecting parts. When they all were here it was time to build. This one seemed to go together very well once I got started.

That is sweet! Where did you find the redlines?

The redlines are fairly common amt tires. They have a grove in them and I paint the redline in it. I use acrylic paint for them.
