I just (I mean today! Really!) get the parts I need to make a decent '61 Corvette out the the squinty-eyed AMT version, and Revell announces plans to kit that body style. My timing sucks. Oh well, I could have it halfway done. Nice to see the Bad Medicine kit back in print. Thanks muchly for the info.

I could make you the resin parts to build the SMP 62 Corvette convertible. It has the opening hood and trunk lid. I could also make you the exact promo chassis for this build if you would rather not have the engine.

I just want something of that body style that looks better than what I've got. I suspect that Revell will do at least an adequate job.

I have three of the Monogram 59 Corvette's and recently got a Historic Racing Miniatures 62 Corvette trans kit to build. It took me a year to get the transkit. I also ordered the 61 trans kit and I am still waiting for it.
