My Dad is setting in the bed of the truck wearing a black hat with a sort of gold trim. I think it is of him with all his nephews and nieces taken about 1958? That was the year I was born. Why is there a spare rim and no tire? I have no idea!! The truck had a straight six with a 3 speed on the column shift. It had four wheel drive with lockout front hubs. I think there were two floor shift knobs as well. Hi-Lo and? I remember when we were kids we could put one of the floor shifters in a neutral position. Even if he chose first gear on the column it would not go anywhere. I think it may have had a AM radio too. Dad traded it in for a 1970 for a Chevy Four Wheel drive pickup. I think the truck had a power take off shaft on the back of the pumpkin so the truck could be used to drive some sort of implement but I could be dreaming on this one. I remember riding on the back bed rail and picking up rocks out of the fields in the spring before planting occurred. Cutting weeds out of beans was another summer activity. As a little kid I thought it would never end! LOL
