Here are a couple of update pics. As of this writing the mold is complete and there is one in the oven so to speak. It is clear with a small amount of black transparent paint mixed in to make it slightly tinted.

Here are a couple of domes I made. The one on the right is slightly tinted with some black transparent paint. It set in the mold for two days and after all the time prep of heating the mold and the wait it was still not fully cured around the outside edge where very thin flash existed. It was sticky and stringy still. The lower outside edge I suppose could still be lightly sanded and polished out but I have not attempted to try this yet. The clear one on the left only sat over night and was all nicely cured when I opened the mold this morning.

Greg.......the tinted one looks AWESOME.......from what I can see?.......i`m sure the next one will be perfect.

It's hard to see but at the lower edge on the outside it has a rough texture on it from it being pulled out of the mold too soon. I probably should have left it in undisturbed for another day.

Greg looks great!....I might have to go thru my boxes of cars that need rebuilding and build a bubble top custom of some kind!
