Farm Tractors? Rat Rods? I was mildly surprised by some of the vehicles I saw at Barrett Jackson today. Here is an example of an item that had me scratching my head. I addition I was surprised to see the number of fairly common cars that were up for auction only because they were low mileage vehicles. AMC Eagle?, '78 Ranchero?, '74 F-100 Pickup? And what is the rationale behind owning a hot car and basically putting it in mothballs for oh, say 30 years? There was a Buick GNX and a few other examples of cars that had less than 5,000 miles on them. Bernie

From an automotive perspective, BJ has indeed gone down from true pre-1950 classics to post-1950 hot rods and muscle cars. From a business perspective, they haven't changed at all - present what's available that will bring in the most cash. With their rep, the could probably do an all-Nash show and still make money - once.
