It was rockin' at the Moonlight Modelers meeting last night. Huge turnout ... 39 models on the table for the Builder's Choice contest ... don't even know how many projects displayed, but we ran out of room!
Signed up two "new" members ... well, one new member and one returning member (after about 15 years!). Welcomes to Jonathan Stephens and Mike Schnur!
The auction? What can be said? WOW!
We had tons of donated items, including kits, tools, magazines, books, framed pictures and counted cross-stitch art, an Evergreen plastic retail display rack, a lab chamber suitable for conversion to a spray booth, a Master Caster resin conversion kit (Elenor!), and a Peoria Volkswagen Car Show Tee Shirt ~ the first one released to the public!!
The Bob Peeples family donated Bob's huge magazine collection.
Bidding was ... Fast and Furious. The club made a record-setting amount of money, both in Moonlight Buck$ and in CASH! In fact, we nearly doubled previous years and the last two years were unbelievable!!
