Don't forget the ALL-VW Model Car Contest/Show [/size]on Saturday, February 18, 2012 from 9am to 3pm at Peoria Volkswagen, 8801 W. Bell Road, Peoria, AZ 85382.
The model contest/show is being held in conjunction with Peoria VW's First Inaugural Classic VW Car Show and Charity Event.
Model Car Registration from 9am to 11am; no entry fee but donations to the charity are welcome.
There will be four awards; Best Bug (beetles, all years), Best Buggy (dune buggies, sandrails, similar cut-down VW vehicles), Best VDub (all other VWs), and Best of Show. Open to all Volkswagen models and/or models of Volkswagen powered vehicles.
At the same time, there will be a 1:1 VW car show with scores of vintage, custom, and racing VWs, as well as the new 21st Century Beetle and other new Volkswagens on display.
Check out the 1:1 car and memorabilia swap meet. And, VW parts/accessories/memorabilia vendors, food and entertainment will be on hand.
Proceeds to benefit are animal shelter and rescue organizations. [/b]
