69 Javelin SST casting project

Greg, Here are a few shots of my resin project. I need to take some more but here is the clay up of my 69 Javelin SST promo body. Yes I thought you took forever claying up my Eleanor mustang convert but now I know why.

Them mold next to it is my interior tub for the 69 Javelin. These two molds are what I needed for my project. I have a mint 68 Javelin kit for the other items I need. Plus this stuff I got on ebay. This is two 69 Javelin SST kits as a parts lot. Here are some auction pics.

It has two damaged bodies, one hood and a stock chassis plate. Also have two sets of bumpers. I think I can make a good body from the two damaged ones. The better blue body has its rear wheel wells opened up. The red body is really bad but the wheel wells are untouched.

Your efforts look really good, Raoul. Yes, the prepping and the clay work is essential for a good mold. It takes a better part of a day to get a handful of parts ready for silicone.

Now that I was able to cast up the parts I needed to complete my restoration project here is some work I have done with them.
