Anyone have any recent dealings with MCW. I had a friend trying to get hold of them, and nothing but an answering machine to deal with, and no return calls. Also he mailed them a letter, and it was returned as undeliverable. Hope Scale Finishes hurries back around the 1st part of September.

Very few aftermarket people do business that way,I think Reps and miniatures is one of the few. Try e-mailing MCW. Also if you go to the MCW website there is a notice that Dave is looking for someone to buy the paint part of MCW

Emails didn't work either. Dan, you're right about Scale Finishes, When I talked to Jameson at DSC, he was talking about buying the MCW paint part, but that was before he had to do his temp. shut down. Last I heard was he will be back up and running the first part of September. Also Mike, If that's the way any aftermarket people do their business, then they evidently don't want to do the business. You don't treat customers that way, and expect to have them come back to you again !!! That's just not right !!!

It might not be right, but if that's how someone WANTS to do their business, that is THEIR right. FWIW Replicas & Miniatures of Maryland DOES business that way,and the owner(Norm Veber) is constantly very busy, but his products are top notch!

So, what you're saying is that if you can't get hold of MCW by phone, email, or a snail mail, then it's OK because that's how they want to run their business. Just please tell me what I'm missing here. How in the heck do you order any paint or resin models from them It just don't make any sense to me.

Here is the only way I found to order from them: Resin: www.mcwautomotivefinishes.com/resin/order.htmlPaint: www.mcwautomotivefinishes.com/paint/order.htmlThere is not much more I can say. Dave's paint is great, and his resin is okay. He has some unique stuff. I have never ordered from him as I use to see him at Toledo toy show and did most of my purchasing in person. Paint and resin would then be shipped to me. It's the way he wants to run his business and there's nothing I can do about it.
