Aug 4th we had a small ( well $21k worth) flood in our house when our RO system broke Lucky we were home and in the backyard so it only flooded for an hour before we noticed it. But its just about done being repaired. But here is a before and almost after shot of the Kitchen. After We went with wood flooring for the whole downstairs.....Tired of cleaning carpets and looking for small model parts in it also (hobby room is downstairs) Hopefully we will be done soon and I can get back to some models I have started. The contractors are done now but we are just doing a couple other things while everything is in the garage and piled in one room.

I just went through a minor flood of my own about a year ago, so I can sympathize. Despite your expectations, I suspect that any part you drop, regardless of size, shape, or color, will immediately blend into the woodwork.
