Hey, all you guys with Lindberg '53 Ford kits!
I could sure put to good use the spotlight parts from the Lindberg 1953 Ford kits ... either the Victoria hardtop (Kit# 72172) or the Convertible Indy Pace Car (Kit# 72321).
What I'm looking for are the spotlights, lenses, and interior handles.
In the Hardtop kit they are parts numbers 218, 219, and two each 217 and 310 (clear). All are on the chrome tree, except the clear lens.
In the Convertible kit they are parts numbers 215, 216, and two each 217 and 330 (clear). Again, 215, 216, and 217 are on the chrome tree.
If you aren't using any of these and you'd be so kind as to provide them to me, it would be GREATLY appreciated.
Also ~ ~ ~ ~
As you dig through your parts boxes from time to time, if you happen upon the old mid-50's streamlined spotlights with rear view mirrors sculpted in, I could dearly use any/all you can part with. There were two similar but different styles. See the illustrations below.
I seem to recall them being in Hubley kits, but perhaps some old AMT kits as well.
In 1:1, they were Ford - Lincoln - Mercury options, but they could also be ordered aftermarket for other makes. They were usually seen on Caddy ambulances, Caddys, and Buicks/Pontiacs/Oldsmobiles as aftermarket dress-up items.
Thanks all!!

Lanny,
That would be great. Thanks!
Jan (or anybody),
Any idea what kit that bottom pair came in?

Absolutely no clue. They're likely over 40 years old. If you want more than the one set, I could try casting some (after filling the horrible sink marks), or we could turn them over to Master Caster.

Lanny,
Yes, thanks! That would be awesome. I also found one ... in the JoHan '60 Plymouth Police Station Wagon kit.
Jan,
If you can spare those, I'd appreciate it. Any chance you'll be at the Moonlight Meeting next month at Gabe Soto's house? He's not too far from your stomping grounds, is he?
