im new to this forum. i havent built a model car in years about 30 to be exact. i switched to model cars because my other hobby has gotten way to expensive .i tried to find something that would give me pleasure and you can do a lot of it indoors.you all know our famous summers. my name is joe and im a model car addict i have purchased over 80 kits and im just about ready to get started building them i found most of the kits that i built when i was a youngster.right now im just trying to take in all the new products and technics everybody is now using.i saw they are having a swap meet and contest next month and look forward to meeting other model car addicts

Welcome Joe. Just to Clarify there is a swapmeet this saturday march 23rd at the postal hall, and a Model car contest& swapmeet, next month april 20th at the postal hall also, would'nt want you to miss anything.

i purchesed an airbush and an airbrush compressor, im going to make a paint spray booth.i have gotten a lot of paints together but i was wondering how many airbrushes should i have ??

What airbrush did you buy? In my opinion you would only need one. Many are adjustible and can spray heavy or real light. My Badger 150 has interchanable needels and heads.

I appear to have bought the wrong one it will not allow me to change colors quickly. It is a gravity feed type with a very small bowl on top . I ordered the right one today.

Harbor Freight sells all manner of airbrushes. They are, or course, cheap Chinese knock-offs of better brushes, but they are CHEAP. I have a number of them of various qualities. That way I can do fine work with the better brushes and have others that I can chance ruining spraying suspect materials. You can get some brushes as cheap as $5 when they go on sale.
