Gabe, I believe he said it's set for March 15. Same day as Moonlight Club meeting.
I'll have more tomorrow.
Anybody else have better info??

Okay. Stand by. When I spoke with Mike a couple of months ago, he indicated the swap meet was going to be March 15th, because March 7-8-9th is GoodGuys and TMAC's Tucson Toy Show is March 2nd.
Mike wasn't at the meeting tonight, but the flyers were there for his swap meet and they show it as Saturday March 8. That's a conflict that Mike indicated he was going to avoid. So, let's get some feedback from Mike before we mark anything down on our calendars . . . ![]() [/img]

Okay,
Here's the scoop.
Mike scheduled the swap meet for the same Saturday as GoodGuys 5th Spring Nationals.  He didn't mean to and it happened by accident, but it's too late to reschedule it. 
Mike's aware that a lot of us who are usually vendors are going to be tied up and unable to attend, but that's what can happen in a busy month. And, there's always the Desert Scale Classic swap meet just a month later! 
So, he's pretty much going to have a tank and airplanes swap meet on March 8. 
Here's how it's shaping up:
Saturday, January 18 is the Moonlight Modelers Club meeting and Annual FundRaising Auction at Vic Florie's. BRING DONATIONS.
Sunday, January 19 is the IPMS Show & Swap Meet in Tucson.
Sunday, January 19 is the Mopars Unlimited Car & Model Show at Metrocentre Mall.
Wednesday, February 12 is Cactus Car Modelers meeting at Mickleys'.
Saturday, February 15 is Moonlight Modelers meeting at Mickleys'. Bring Kit Exchange models.
Sunday, March 2 is the TMAC 26th Annual Toy Show in Tucson.
Friday, March 7 }
Saturday, March 8 } GOODGUYS 5th Annual Spring Nationals
Sunday, March 9 }
Saturday, March 8 is Cholewa's Plastic Airplane, Ship & Tank Model Flea Market at the Postal Worker's Hall.
Wednesday, March 12 is Cactus Car Modelers meeting at Lanny Haas'.
Saturday, March 15 is Moonlight Modelers meeting at Bernie the K's.
Wednesday, April 9 is Cactus Car Modelers at Bernie the K's.
Saturday, April 12 is DESERT SCALE CLASSIC at the Postal Workers' Hall.
Saturday, April 12 is Moonlight Modelers meeting and DSC BarBQue ~ location to be announced.

There were a lot of model car kits and one guy that had lots and lots of Big Rig kits!!!! Mike, you should really think about doing the swap meet next year on the same weekend as GoodGuys!!!!

The Phoenix modelling community has only a small number of events (swap meets/contests) each year. Having Mike's swap meet and the Goodguys model contest on the same day was an unfortunate scheduling error. Neither event benefited from the mixup. I'm sure scheduling will be better coordinated for all such events in the future so the car modelling guys (and gals) can fully enjoy both events.
