Won't say its lost since I have it were I see ever time I go to my desk, just not enough time. Its the Aurora/Revell Aston Martin DB4 that I'm trying to make the body more accurate. A prime example of what looked good when I build one back in 1965 plus knowing the car much better now...and its OMG that thing is bulbous. Reshaped the roof, rear window and quarter windows. Lots of work on the hood and front clip. Actually had to shorten the rear a bit and re-contour the deck lid. There's much more curvature in the body sides from belt line to rocker panel also. The plastic is thick enough that I was able to put a bit of it in by sanding along the bottom (done after this photo) but still not enough. Need to figure out if I can get it closer or let it go with what I've done. Also need to do a little more work on the roof and get the A pillars in better shape. Then there's the engine and trans.

Wow over a year and still haven't done anything more on this. The last issue of Octane Magazine has an article on a ground up resto on an early DB4 with a close to 25th side shot of the body pre, during and after restoration. What I've done is close, but still see some stuff that really needs work like the ft fenders curve down more, the front door line is totally wrong, needs tucked in more on front body work under the headlights, side windows still need some work, etc., etc., etc. At least the filler I've used should have completely outgassed by now.

That will look nice along side the DB 6 convertible that a guy is offering to master for me. Who knows when that will happen.

Had did a little more work on it. Really have to fix the A pillars now, since the new BIG cat jumped up on it an broke both of them. And of course I've got another overcomplicated project start now.
