I have a better one. Once the mold is done they will start to hatch. here are the first couple of parts. That little third brake light is going to be a pain to reproduce, uncertain what to do instead. The Body is ready for silicone. Tomorrow, Tuesday, Is my new day off now that my work has taken me off the night shift job that I loved so much, I will have all day to work on parts. I am now on a 4-10, 6:30 AM to 5:00 pm schedule, I am not happy at all! ASU is now being ran like a military/prison camp!

It would seem that this body is going to have fun making me miserable too. This little bump showed up in the first two bodies I made. I am trying another with less pressure to see if it helps. I have had things like this happen on other body molds.

I hatched this one at 40 PSI instead of the usual 60. This bump is less pronounced. I will let the mold rest for a couple of days and cast one on Tuesday. That is my new day off since being made to work 4-10's. I really hate my new schedule!

Mike suggested a air bubble. With some surgery, I found one. I cut a couple of wire and cross hatched it in the hole to help hold the silicone filling in place. I mixed up a small amount of silicone and poured in the hole. I then placed the mold in the vacuum chamber to insure that it was bubble free. If this fixes the problem then the mold should be golden and making some good green!

I'm back on this body. I know this is what I am supposed to be doing instead of twiddling with silly pet projects.

Not yet, but by the time the first batch is made up, you'll have as many as you need.
