Here is a quicky project. Someone asked if I had one of these rare kits. I agreed to sell it as I have one in my long ago started pile. I told the guy I wanted to make a clear hood just for fun after seeing it lacks any detail on it's underside that many hoods have. I had to give it a good polishing. It is still a little soft after curing for an hour. I am hoping it will firm up more. Clear resin can be tricky to work with. A larger minimum batch has to be mixed or the parts may come out pure white. It is made from SMOOTH - ON 325 clear resin. The flash removed fairly easily. This mold will need to be handled with fresh rubber gloves so it does not get finger printed. I am not sure how many hoods this will make.

Thanks Danno, I am finding that large clear parts are very hard to make. The clear resin is really finnicky!
