We all know this is not supposed to be my focus, but the ADHD just gets the best of me. These are faucet handles for a push button type faucet in the ASU Sun Devil Stadium. If you are a fan then you might know it is getting a big overhaul! I had made four sets of these and installed them on the 3rd floor of Carson Athletics center in the restrooms. The past couple of weeks at the stadium has been a real headache getting it game ready. Construction of course is behind right on schedule. There are many very large restrooms there to have all kinds of plumbing issues. I noticed that the new restrooms are full of these faucets. I am making new masters because the letters shows up on the ones that I made. I made some gold and maroon dye and added it in. I do the gold first and just swirl in a bit of the maroon. They do look beautiful, I could just about cry at my own amazing work. LOL I think it will really set off the look in the restrooms. A little team spirit there might cause some drunks to actually wash their hands after they do their business. I had not made these in awhile. The one on the left is a shortshot. Hopefully this will catch on and I can make them for other schools. I could get rich operating "THE FAIRER FAUCET HANDLE COMPANY" Catchy as usual!
These started out as a key ring and lapel pin, I think. I bought them at the Stadium team shop. They had enamel paint in them. Removing the paint creates the 3d outline. I made molds of them creating a silicone version and glued it to the tops and then made the molds to create a new handle.
