Ok after looking at some online photos of the Olds motor I thought I'd give this a try and I have one done and only seven more to go!! Didn't think I would be able to do it, but since I've had my new eyeglasses and can see what I'm doing that first one was pretty easy to do!!  |

 Got the other seven holes drilled and now just need to do the other seven holes in the heads, I haven't seen anyone do this yet?  I will be using some gray wire and just used that light blue to see how it would look...  |

Bad news and good news.
Bad news: You're not the first. I did with mine and another guy did it with his, which was posted on one of the boards.
Good news: However, I'll probably never finish mine, so no one will ever see it. And, the other guy (can't remember his name; don't want to) used what appeared to be scale heater hose for plug wires, so his effort ended up looking horrendous, like a crazed octopus took up residency on top of his rocket.
So . . . you're still the star, Marty! First one publicly seen ... and a credible job at that. As long as you finish it, you're da man.

Whatever!!! ;D I have never said anything close to that.. BTW you do know that ALL pages on the web site were up to date on the Monday following the meeting........ Just saying... ;D Now you were one of the ones pushing real hard for the Oldsmobile kit for the Same Kit Theme and there for I hope we have more then 3 of them on the contest table and one of them had better be from you...........  ;D |

Got some paint on the motor and this is the first time I have used Scale Finishes paint and so far I like it!!  I also got some of the chassis painted and will be doing some Alcald stuff on it later.  |

Chassis and engine look good, did you use two different blacks on it?
I do too, but I can not find the right fonts to make the you know what for it , so thats a hold up right now
